Mohand is a scenic spot located inside mixed Sal,Khair and shisham forests of shivalik forest Division. This area is located in the Bhabhar area of Shivalik range . Geologically Mohand is known for the location of Mohand anticline. Mohand is one of the famous pass as gateway to Dehradune. The Mohand Pass is 722 m above MSL. Wildlife includes – Leopard, Leopard cat, Hyena, Jackal, Elephant, Ghural, Barking Deer, cheetal, Sambhar, Wild Boar, Monitor lizard, Indian roller, Grey francolin,
